Serena Triumphs Despite Leg Injury
Serena Williams won't go down without a battle. After collapsing onto the grass in the second set with a left calf injury, she managed to recover during a rain delay to gut out a three-set victory at Wimbledon yesterday. Putting away No. 10-seeded Daniela Hantuchova sets up a quarterfinal showdown at the All England Club between our favorite soldier and No. 1 Justine Henin. Basically playing on one leg, Serena found a way to win and gives credit to where credit is due:

The reason the Lord has smited Serena on the tennis court is that she is claiming to be saved by rain and not saved by Jesis!!!

That's Venus, not Serena. Lol @ "Jesis" [sic]. Smiting couldn't have been that bad if she won in straight sets.
