Coolio Dead??!?

Loyal JuiicyScoop reader Mainma sent me a wikipedia article claiming that rap-star Coolio is dead.

According to Wikipedia:

On Tuesday, September 05, 2007, Coolio was found dead on the floor of his Malibu beach home at the age of 44. . The official photo, taken at the scene, showed a naked Coolio, a syringe and burned bottle cap nearby, along with various other narcotics paraphernalia. His official cause of death was acute morphine poisoning caused by an accidental overdose.

When I went to look up the article here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coolio I couldn't find anything.

I sure hope he isn't dead, he has a few gigs lined up for the first time in 10 years.

Karrine Speaks on Shaq's Recent Divorce

Taking a quick break from getting dirty-sanchezed, Superhead went flapping her peen-suckers to anyone who would listen regarding the relationship she had with Shaq after he was engaged to his soon-to-be ex-wife, Shaunie.

According to NYDailyNews Karrine told them yesterday that "On the first date, he gave me $10,000,"

"Over four months, [he spent] more than $40,000 on me, as far as I can remember."

"Just recently at the ESPY awards," she chuckled, "we both had the same hairstyle and everything."

Usher and Tameka's Wedding Photo Album

R&B singer Usher and Tameka Raymond were married over the weekend before family members and a few celebrity friends in an elegant ceremony at Chateau Elan Winery and Resort outside of Atlanta.

The bride wore a strapless satin Vera Wang gown with an empire waist and full skirt. Usher wore a black Giorgio Armani tuxedo with ivory bowtie, vest and a fragrant gardenia boutonniere. The bridesmaids were dressed in ivory chiffon gowns with black sashes and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos. Click here to read more about the lavish affair

The REAL Reason Kim Left Diddy...

Kim recently spoke with Essence magazine... again, this time divulging the real reason why she left Diddy.

Sean (Diddy) Combs denied fathering a baby with an Atlanta woman when we called about it months ago. Now, his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter says not only is it true, but it was a major reason she left him.

The music and fashion mogul was apparently desperate to keep Porter in the dark about the other pregnancy while she herself was pregnant with the couple's twins. Word was he paid the other mother a million dollars in hush money — pocket change to the Bad Boy Records and Sean John clothing company founder.

When Essence magazine reporter Jeannine Amber said to the beauty, "Speaking of being faithful, there have been rumors about Sean and a baby in Atlanta ... Is this why you left the relationship?" Porter admitted, "That definitely was part of it."

Jena 6: Update

I know I know, I've been getting ALOT of slack for not posting anything about the Jena 6 and it had hit me when I was talking to a few friends about it and they had NO idea what I was talking about. So for those who are IN the loop a judge vacated one of two convictions against Mychal Bell.

Mychal Bell, 17, faces up to 22 years in prison after his aggravated battery conviction.

Defense lawyers argued -- and 28th Judicial District Court Judge J.P. Mauffray Jr. agreed -- that a charge of conspiracy to commit second-degree aggravated battery should have been brought against Mychal Bell in juvenile court rather than adult court.

But he left standing Bell's conviction on a second-degree aggravated battery charge.
The teen's attorneys said they would file an emergency appeal and ask for a stay of Bell's September 20 sentencing date until the appellate court rules.

Did You Watch 'The View'?

After crying a river when Rosie O'Donnell was kicked off and hating every other co-host they had, I was surprised to find out that the new co-host of 'The View' would be Whoopi. Pissed at the world because they allowed a 48 year old man be a co-host I was sort of relieved when she started her first day off with a little bit of controversy. Whoops went were no white-women would go and started yapping about the Mike Vick controversy, most notably, defending his actions. During her rant she went on to say:

"You know from his background this is not an unusual thing for where he comes from," said Goldberg.

"There are certain things that are indicative to certain parts of our country."

Co-host Joy Behar seemed shocked at Goldberg's statements."How about dog torture and dog murdering," Behar asked.

"Unfortunately it's part of the thing," Goldberg replied.

"You're a dog lover. For a lot of people dogs are sport," she added.

Behar continued to shake her head in disgust.Goldberg said it seemed to her that it took a while for Vick to realize that the charges against him were serious. "It seemed like a light went off in his head when he realized that this was something the entire country really didn't appreciated, didn't like," Goldberg said, referring to Vick's guilty plea.

She said if the case had involved somebody from New York City her feelings would have been different. Goldberg pointed out that Vick was raised in the South. "This is part of his cultural upbringing," said Goldberg."

Shaq Files For Divorce; Says Wife Has Been "Secretive About Her Assets"

After nearly five years of marriage and four children together, Shaquille O'Neal filed for divorce from his wife Shaunie in Miami on Tuesday. "The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," reads the petition, which was filed by O'Neal's lawyer, Ira Elegant, in Miami-Dade Circuit Court on Tuesday. It is not known who is representing Shaunie.

O'Neal also says in the petition that Shaunie has been "secretive about her assets ... particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either [her] name alone or in other entities" and requests that the court require Shaunie to give a "correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities (including bearer securities)" acquired during the marriage.

Shaq recommends that his wife be "primary residential custodian" of their children and asks for "liberal rights of visitation."

Daaaammmnn. What Shaunie did is what hundreds of women SHOULD be doing, keeping a lil something something for themselves. How many times do you see men divorcing their "homemaker" wives to only leave them broke as hell. I can't fault homegirl for what she did, I can only applaud her. But seriously, this ain't nothing a little Barry White, Alize and anal beads won't fix!

Halle Berry Confirms Pregnancy

Halle Berry confirmed to Access Hollywood that she is indeed knocked up!

“Yes, I am three months pregnant! Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next seven months will be the longest of my life!” she wrote to Nancy. “Can’t wait to see you and give you a squeeze and see a pic of your little sweetie. Until then, you heard it from ME first!”

Congrats to the happy family. This will be the first child for the 41 year old Berry and her model boyfriend. This baby is going to be hot.. well maybe, because you know the old saying "two hots make a not", or some shit like that, I could have totally just made that up .... yeah, I think I did.

Happy B-Day.. Again

It's been a whole year since B-Day was last upon us. Today our girl Beyonce celebrates her 26th birthday, of course she is on tour so what better way to celebrate then to have your reject bandmates and boo surprise you at a concert in L.A.

But seriously Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined B on stage for a performance and Jay-Z also joined her to perform “Upgrade U”. Towards the end of the show the ladies also led the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” to the Queen.

Celebs Celebrating Labor Day

While you were out roasting weenies on your George Forman, celebs were out taking over the world on Labor Day 2007.

Mya was in D.C. at the Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts where she watched students in The Mya Arts Foundation, perform a Summer Showcase finale concert.

Ashanti joined her beau Nelly at his 2nd Annual Black and White Ball in St. Louis.

Ruben Studdard was the performer for the night.

Paris Hilton, Shelia E., Chaka Kahn, Terrance Howard and Eva Longoria all jetted to Spain to attend the "Playing For Good Gala" benefit party.

And of course P.Diddy held his annual "All-White Party" in the Hamptons. This year he allowed his children to attend the event. It's also said that Diddy and Kim Porter kissed and made up. Sources say that "Diddy and Kim looked very lovey-dovey," standing on the balcony,"We'll see if Kim can stay strong." Also at the party were Donna Karan, Lil' Kim, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Tommy Lee, and Star Jones and Al Reynolds.
